StirLITE liquid nitrogen plant Venda University
The StirLITE liquid nitrogen plant was delivered to the Department of Chemistry at the University of Venda in Thohoyandou, South Africa. The plant was succesfully installed and commissioned. Professor Teunis van Ree, who was responsible within the university for the purchase of the equipment, was very satisfied with the service provided by Stirling Cryogenics as well as the local Stirling representative Rick Loveland.
The StirLITE with its nominal production capacity of 2,5 L/hour (or 60 L/day) filled the 200 L dewar for the first time within less than 3 days after initial start-up.
